Michelle Fenton

Michelle Fenton brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and a deep commitment to helping individuals and families feel confident about their financial future.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California and later completed a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA Extension, building a strong foundation in both economic principles and real-world financial planning. In 2022, she earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®) designation, further strengthening her expertise in helping clients prepare for and navigate retirement.

She began her career in financial services in 2005, at established financial companies, including Capital Group Companies (the parent company of American Funds), UBS Wealth Management in Beverly Hills, and AIG, where she worked as a retirement product specialist. These roles gave Michelle a dynamic perspective on investment management, retirement strategies, and how large financial institutions operate behind the scenes.

In 2011, Michelle joined Centaurus Financial, Inc. and Fenton Wealth Management, where she found the opportunity to work more closely with clients and build long-term relationships. Her experience across multiple firms allows her to bring a well-rounded, practical approach to financial planning, she is focused on what’s best for the client, not a product or institution.

Today, Michelle specializes in retirement planning and long-term financial strategies with a goal to help you feel prepared, protected, and confident at every stage of life. Her goal is to help her clients feel confident enough to enjoy life, knowing they have a plan, a partner, and a dedicated advisor by their side.

Robert “Bob” Fenton

Robert “Bob” Fenton’s career for has been centered on one goal for over 30 years: helping people make educated financial decisions and feel confident about their future.

Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University Northridge (CSUN) and later completed a Master’s degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. Early in his career, he obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and later earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, laying a strong foundation in both technical knowledge and long-term financial strategy.

Early in his career, Bob worked for a Big 8 accounting firm, where he developed a disciplined approach to finances, and eventually moved into the corporate world, holding senior leadership roles at publicly traded companies. He served as Tax Manager, and later Vice President and Treasurer, for a NYSE listed computer manufacturing company, followed by over a decade as Vice President of Tax for a large international conglomerate.

When the company he worked for was acquired and later liquidated, Bob chose to take a different path: one that allowed him to focus on helping individuals and families navigate their financial decisions with confidence. In 1998, Bob became securities and insurance licensed, and by 2004 he fully transitioned from accounting and tax into wealth management. That same year, he joined Centaurus Financial, Inc. where his thoughtful, client-first approach stood out.

Bob brings almost 30 years of experience as a financial advisor and decades of financial leadership to every client relationship. His background allows him to look at your finances as a whole, understanding how each decision affects your long-term well-being, your family, and your confidence.
